A character in the movie 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' (which opens today throughout the United States) says a line of dialogue that reflects what I often think myself when I wake up each morning: "Every day is a miracle."
The profile of 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' describes how it portrays miracles in a grieving boy's healing quest after his dad dies in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center towers in New York City.
I'm well-acquainted with grief after the deaths of many people I've loved. Maybe you know grief well, too. If so, I hope you discover that each day that God gives us of life really is a miracle that's full of opportunities to discover more about him and ourselves -- if we use the time for spiritual searching, just like the boy, Oskar, does in the movie.
