I'm starting work on a series I'll feature next year about miracles related to animals -- from the pets we love (like dogs, cats, horses, and birds) to the wild animals who inspire us. The series will feature many different types of articles (including some new ones about angels and animals), but for now, I'm posting some profiles of patron saints who are linked to animals.
Most people know about Saint Francis, the best known patron saint of animals. Francis is associated with all members of the animal kingdom. I've just posted a profile of Saint Blaise, who specializes in wild animals.
