Praying for Dogs

By January 3, 2013

Dog lovers regularly pray not just for the other people in their lives, but also for the dogs who bring them joy. If you're praying for a dog who's special to you, you may want to enlist the prayer support of two of heaven's saints: St. Roch and St. Hubert of Liege. Both serve as patron saints of dogs.

God worked through a dog to miraculously heal Saint Roch of a deadly disease. Dogs often accompanied Saint Hubert as he traveled around doing ministry work.

Has God ever miraculously answered a prayer you've prayed for a dog? What happened? Leave your comments here on the blog, visit our forum to discuss it, or email me at: angels@aboutguide.com with a brief story about it to post on our site to inspire others.

I advise you both to go for confession first, then pray from your deep hearts. I recommend to pray st. Rita’s novena. She helped me many times.
